The BKM-funded pilot project “Audience Development” has ended successfully
In the second half of 2019, the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media (BKM), Prof. Monika Grütters, approved funding to develop a concept to ascertain the visitor structure and motivation at four selected institutions of the Conference of National Cultural Institutions (KNK). The applicant was the KNK, represented by the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG).
The joint project visitor research of Stiftung Preußische Schlösser und Gärten Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG), der Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz, Kulturstiftung Sachsen-Anhalt with Kunstmuseum Moritzburg Halle (Saale) and Stiftung Schloss Friedenstein Gotha has ended successfully.
From 2020 to 2022, almost 2,500 visitors and over 250 non-visitors were surveyed for the project. Numerous results are now available for the participating houses of the four institutions.
