German Hygiene Museum Dresden
The Human Adventure
With its diverse range of exhibition projects and events, the German Hygiene Museum, established in 1912, sees itself as a forum for science, culture and society. The human body and health are the main focuses of its permanent exhibition “The Human Adventure”. This is accompanied by the Kinder-Museum which invites children to learn about the five senses in a playful manner.
Its nationally acclaimed special exhibitions address current social and cultural issues or explore key topics from the world of science. Recently modernised by Peter Kulka, the building complex built in 1930 is a remarkable architectural example of New Objectivism.
